The Crewathlon
500m Swim • 2K Row • 3K Run
The first ever Crewathlon will take place Saturday, September 12 at Heron Lakes Country Club. The event features a 500m swim (20 laps in the pool), 2,000m row on the Concept2 rowing machine, and a 3K run (1.86 miles) on the beautiful Heron Lakes golf course path.
Everyone (age 16 and up) is invited to participate in the Crewathlon! We have separate divisions for male and female competitors and a fun, “untimed” division for people that may want to scale any of the distances on any part of the race.
Following individual competition, there will be a RELAY TEAM competition. Teams consist of 3 athletes, each completing one leg of the triathlon. Distances for team competition are the same as individual competition. Teams can consist of all men, all women, or a mix. One team will be crowned champions. Prizes will be awarded to the fastest man, woman and team. The first heat will feature the most competitive Crewathletes. The Friendly Competition heats will also be timed, judged and ranked, and the champion can come from any of the competitive divisions.

7:00 Championship Heat
7:45 Friendly Competition
8:30 Friendly Competition
9:15 Untimed Division
10:00 Team Relay
The Crewathlon 2020 will be a socially-distanced, outdoor event, with individual heats capped at 20 competitors. Cost of entry is $50 for individuals and $75 for teams. Heron Lakes Country Club will open its pool and snack bar to participants and their fans for the remainder of the day following the triathlon.
